Taking care of some small-small things you can increase the life span of your favorite footwears. You can use four step formulas to maintain the charm of your footwear - Clean, Condition, Polish, and Preserve. Always clean your footwear before you wear them, keep a check on its condition, polish them regularly & preserve them from water, mud and dust.
Following are some more "cool" tips you can use -
- Always apply the matching color polish to your shoes
- Liquid polishes are easiest to work with but they can dry out shoe leather and can cause cracking. So better option is to use cream polish.
- Shoes with a nap, such as suede or nubuck, shouldn’t be polished.
- Use solvent based suede cleaner to remove stains
- Use toothbrush, mild soap and water to clean Sneakers made from canvas
- If you are in bit hurry, remove excess dirt with a cloth and/or a brush and then apply the liquid shine evenly to your shoes.
- To retain the shape of shoes, store them using a shoe tree. In case you don't have shoe tree, stuff the toe cap with newspaper or tissue.

- If your shoes get wet, allow them to dry completely before wearing them again.
